Ascentia was founded by Mr Venkat Muriki, an eminent leader in education, who runs several other reputed educational institutions under the brand names of Excellencia Junior Colleges, Infinitum CBSE School, Teach Tigers etc. The model of teaching has inspired many institutions to try and replicate the model under his advice.

Ascentia provides ample opportunities, in school education, for children to develop strong value systems and high intellect that not only arouse inquisitiveness but also make them socially and emotionally responsible citizens.
Venkat obtained his Bachelor’s degree at Osmania University after which he bagged an All-India Rank (AIR) of 21 in the entrance examination for admission to the Master’s degree program at the prestigious, University of Hyderabad, a Central University, declared as an Institution of Eminence by Ministry of Education, Government of India. He shot to fame due to his teaching prowess, depth of knowledge and innate ability to manage operations and administration right from the early stages in his career.
His quest to provide excellence in education continued when he charted out on his own by floating the Excellencia Group of Institutions in early 2015. A Social Entrepreneur, Venkat’s single-minded objective is to impart value education at affordable costs to the students. His group now runs a six Junior Colleges, two premier K-12 schools and an EdTech online learning platform.
